The Regional Build-A-Pool Conference will offer plans for programming facilities for sustainability plus innovative ideas and examples for new building and renovations.
The format offers information about:
“In the last 2 years the Facilities Development Department has been instrumental in helping pools with solutions to over 120 air and water quality challenges, 65 renovations, 20 saving pool scenarios, 35 new pool design projects in the planning stages and 16 new pool openings. This makes our 10 year total of 118 new aquatic projects completed and open along with over 4200 members and industry questions answered.
PRESENTERS
Mick and Sue Nelson have been with USA Swimming 10 years. Both travel around the country hosting Build a Pool Conferences assisting coaches, cities reach their dream of building a functional and sustainable aquatic center.

The Community of Somers lacks a public space where children, teens, and adults can relax and cool off during the hot summer months. This group seeks to work with the Town Board by exploring the options of building a community pool that will be beneficial to the entire town.
